Wolf Bauer (1938) graduated from State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart, Germany (1959-1963).
Bauer predominantly produces works in ceramic, glass and textiles. Recently he has been rediscovered and was named as a pivotal figure in the history of Knoll Textiles, and American manufacture. His designs won the New York Industrial Award for Design Excellence in 1970.
