Jaroslav J. Kralik.(1924-1999) was a Czech painter and graphic artist, initially studying under Emil Filla.
He worked across many mediums, but devoted himself mainly to painting, collages and graphic works for prints and books. He was a member of the LG 5 Group, which strove for the revival of hand-coloured lithography, and was also a member of the international group of the Circle of Visual Artists in Wuppertal - in 1990 he was involved in the restoration of SVU Mánes, where he served as vice-president. Kralik won numerous foreign prizes and is represented in galleries, museums and private collections throughout Europe, the USA and Japan.
